In his stead, the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, highlighted the administration’s strides in tourism development. She emphasized the key role that Lagos's arts, fashion, and music sectors play in elevating the city’s profile on the global stage.
Since the administration's inception, thousands of young people have been trained in various creative arts fields, and grants have been awarded to filmmakers and other professionals, strengthening Lagos’s position as Africa’s creative hub.
The administration remains dedicated to enhancing Lagos’s tourism landscape, with Entertainment and Tourism integrated as central pillars of the THEMES+ agenda, contributing significantly to the economic and cultural development of the state.
