Lagos, Nigeria – Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today hosted a high-level delegation from the California State Transportation Agency at Lagos House, Marina. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations to drive economic growth and infrastructure development in Lagos State.
Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of adopting innovative solutions and best practices from California to address Lagos’s unique challenges, particularly in transportation and urban planning.
Later in the day, the Governor presided over the launch of the Appeal Fund for the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem. He received the 2025 emblem and made a significant donation to the State Council of the Nigerian Legion.
Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting Legionnaires and their families, especially the elderly who have contributed significantly to the nation’s security. He assured attendees that they would be included in government programs aimed at improving their welfare and economic empowerment.
