The Lagos State Tree Planting Day has been institutionalized as an annual celebration on the 14th of July every year, with planting of trees simultaneously at different locations across the State. The world is gripped by the COVID-19 pandemic and it affects us all - Health and Environment and Safety are paramount now more than ever, hence; the theme for this year’s Tree Planting Day is “Trees for Life”
Lagos State will be planting in honor of the “Frontline Heroes” who through sheer dedication, strength and compassion are risking their lives daily to keep us safe.
