"Sanwo-Olu Is Committed to Food Security", Says Commissioner.

Lagos Cultivates Culinary Talent


The Lagos State Government recently celebrated the winners of the Eko Flavours food competition. This initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, aims to foster food security and empower young culinary talents.


"We must say a big thank you to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the vision and support," stated Ms. Abisola Olusanya, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems. "We also appreciate him and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hazmat, for all they have done."


Isaiah Oyede emerged victorious, securing a N5 million cash prize and the prestigious title of Lagos Food System Ambassador. Other finalists also received substantial rewards, recognizing their culinary prowess.


"I am so glad because winning the Eko Flavours food competition is a dream come true," expressed Isaiah Oyede, the elated winner.


Eko Flavours provides a platform for aspiring chefs and food vendors to showcase their creativity and connect with the public. The competition highlights the Lagos State Government's commitment to supporting the culinary arts and promoting a thriving food ecosystem within the state.
